CCE

Bannari Amman Institute of Technology had for a long time been concerned with ways improve the skills and competence of prefinal and final year students so also to make its expertise and facilities available to qualified technical personnel in industries, universities and research establishments. On a small scale, the Institute's facilities were always being used through short-term/refresher courses, but these activities were not coordinated by a single entry. The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) was set up in 2006 to function as a focus for all such activities and to promote a variety of programmes relevant to specific target groups in line with the growth the institution (Affiliated college - Autonomous Status with the Center of Excellence - Deemed University - Globally recognized Technical Institute etc).

CCE Operation

CCE coordinates various continuing education programmes with the concerned departments and sponsoring agencies and provides necessary assistance and infrastructure support to faculty members, organizing the programmes.
Conducting Communication Skill and Spoken English for needy students and supporting staff, especially those who had Tamil medium in the school.
Conducting training in contemporary software and modeling packages jointly with CAD/CAM centre, CSE and IT Dept.
Developing standard reviewed learning material package in all the subjects offered in BIT starting with

All common subjects of I BE (Autonomous)
All core and basic subjects of Mech. Engg. Dept. and other Departments.
