Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) established in the year 1996 is the fruit of a dedicated effort to provide quality education and to develop transferable skills to the future technocrats. It is run by Bannari Amman Group known for its vision, dynamism and philanthropy under the leadership of Shri S V Balasubramaniam, our Chairman and Dr S K Sundararaman, our Director. The BIT Campus with all the facilities is spread over 165 acres and situated on the banks of the river Bhavani. BIT is currently offering 13 UG and 12 PG programmes in Engineering, Technology and Applied Science and PhD, MS (By Research) programmes in 4 discipline of Engineering and Technology. The Institute has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi , accredited by NAAC with A grade and NBA and it is an autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University , Coimbatore . It has an excellent infrastructure and a team of qualified and dedicated staff.
