The water tank is used to store the water from different sources like rivers, wells, springs, rain waters etc., Storing the water in a water tank is the most essential need for any human being. Filling the water inside a tank needs a manual control and a person should always monitor the tank to note down the status. Hence an automatic indicator system was designed to solve this problem. This product is an IoT (Internet of Things) based water level indicator to inform the status of the tank to the user. It uses an Ultrasonic sensor to monitor and send the status to a microcontroller unit. Further the microcontroller processes the data and sends the data to a cloud environment from where the user can access the status of the tank. A user can view his data through a webpage with internet connection or through an Android based mobile phone. To monitor the data in terms of values through a mobile phone Blynk application is used. This product can be used in industries, organizations, homes etc., peoples can also save electricity and money using this product.Wastage of water in any water tanks can be avoided by using this IoT based water level indicator system. Based on the water tank problems, a user can use this system to have an automated monitoring system and use it at their home and workplaces.
Measurements done in the water tank:
- Level of the water.
- Overflow status of the tank.
Finally, displaying the measured parameters using IoT. This product uses an Ultrasonic sensor to sense the levels and overflow status of the tank. Anybody can monitor the tank status using a mobile phone. A water level system helps us to save money by limiting the waste of water and electricity.

These straws can be used for Tender coconut in star hotels. Normally Straws will be of conventional type which can spill the water inside. The Straws used now are for ready to use purpose. We cannot transport the tender coconut with straw from one place to another. The product developed now can be used even it is fixed in tender coconut.
