Physical and mental benefits of our BIT’ians gain from practicing yoga. Yoga is a mind and body practicing yoga. Yoga is a mind and body practice that teaches us methods of coping with stress, finding presence, and becoming more self-aware. Yoga is a systematic practice of physical exercise, breath control, relaxation, diet control, and positive thinking and meditation aimed at developing harmony in the body, mind and environment. Yoga have to stress relieving powers on students, paving the way for improved academic performance with the practice of asanas, meditation and breathing techniques.
