National Cadet Corps in Bannari Amman Institute of Technology commenced in the year 1999. BIT has the prestigious Army wing of Senior Division NCC. Young soldiers will be seen trained extensively in parade ground of the college campus. Cadets show their excellent display of skill of marching at the Independence, Republic days and sports days. They attend various camps being held in both inter and intra states.
2 (TN) CTC NCC is an Army Wing which is dedicated to both school and college students. The unit is led by OFFICER COMMANDING COL EMMANUEL TAMANG. The unit conducts various camps around the year among which RDC, TSC, EBSB, and AAC (ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP) are of great importance and recognition. The unit successfully celebrates it’s 25th year in 2024 which marks the beginning of greater production of successful cadets. For three consecutive years the BIT cadets have excelled in the camps and have represented the unit in MRDC – 2021, RDC Selection 2021, TSC DELHI – 2022, and TSC DELHI – 2023. The cadets live a life of Army soldiers with a sense of duty towards the society as well as their own self.

To Provide a Suitable Environment to Motivate the Youth to Take Up a Career in the Armed Forces. To Develop Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.

To develop leadership and character qualities, mould discipline and nurture social integration and cohesion through multi-faceted programs conducted in a military environment.

Become a main source of National Integration by making NCC as one of the greatest cohesive force of our nation irrespective of any caste, creed, religion or region.

Instill spirit of secularism and united India by organizing National Integration Camps all over the country.
Reach out to the youths of friendly foreign countries through Youth Exchange Programmes (YEP).
