Fabric Surface Enhancement Lab - Bannari Amman Institute of Technology

FSEL is a premier research laboratory that caters to the academic needs in the field of surface enhancement process. The primary aim of FSEL is to carry out funded research projects, train manpower establishes the state-of-art instrumentation required to carry out research in the frontier areas of fabric surface enhancement. FSEL also envisages the dissemination of knowledge through organizing sponsored national conferences, seminars periodically. FSEL also publishes in international peer reviewed journals and files national patents. HPVT Plasma System Model-PS can perform a large number of industrial and laboratory applications like preparation of thin films for optical and electronic applications, preparation of specimens for Electron Microscope, etc. The Basic unit consists of a cabinet coating a vacuum pumping system together with all the electrical components necessary for the coating process. FSEL is fully equipped to undertake sponsored research from government funding agencies.
