About Club

Science club and TEDx in Bannari Amman Institute of Technology commenced in the year of 2013. The club of BIT is always instrumental in organizing events for the goodness and betterment of the student community. Science club of BIT has also organized a Guest lectures and students competitions. TEDx identifies gaps in students public speaking. In this regard open talk and group discussions will be conducted.

Vision

Science club(TEDx) aims to give knowledge to train future leaders in science and technology. TEDxBITSathy brings together a collection of doers, thinkers, innovators, explorers, visionaries, teachers, learners and seeks to illuminate, inspire, change perceptions, incite action and foster new connections.

Mission

Our mission is to applying deep knowledge in various areas to create know and developing such knowledge for utilization by industry and society.
Conducting high-impact research, generating new knowledge, and disseminating this knowledge through public presentations and also in top journals and conferences.
TEDx agenda is to make great ideas accessible and spark conversation.
We are focused on proffering a TEDx stage to speakers of varied backgrounds and experiences for inspirational and intellectual acceleration. Our event strategically allocates a window for collaboration of arts, sciences and entrepreneurship.

Objectives

To promote inquisitiveness among the students and inculcate Scientific temper among them.
To encourage student to participate actively in the activities organized by the Science Club and TEDx talks.
To motivate/ equip the students in applications of Science and its interface with society.
