Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT), established
in 1996 by the Bannari Amman Group, stands as one of
the prominent centers of higher education in southern
India. BIT strives to impart knowledge, foster teamwork,
encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and instil
values. BIT offers 12 undergraduate programmes, 3
postgraduate programmes, and Ph.D. programmes in
Engineering, Technology, and Management. The
institution is equipped with 25 state-of-the-art research
laboratories and 9 Centres of Excellence to benefit
students, research scholars, and faculty members.
Approved by the All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE), New Delhi, all eligible courses are
accredited by the National Board of Accreditation
(NBA). Additionally, BIT is accredited by the National
Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an
A+ Grade and a CGPA of 3.36 on a 4.0 scale.
