Scope of the Policy
- This policy applies to all students, faculty members, and staff of the institution. The Anti-Drug Club will function under the guidance of designated faculty coordinators and in alignment with institutional policies and government regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Faculty Coordinators
- Plan, implement, and monitor club activities.
- Liaise with external agencies and experts.
- Ensure discipline and adherence to institutional guidelines.
Student Volunteers
- Act as peer educators and awareness ambassadors.
- Organize and participate in club activities.
- Support outreach and community engagement initiatives.
Key Activities
- Awareness campaigns, rallies, and pledge programs
- Guest lectures, seminars, and workshops
- Observance of important days (e.g., International Day Against Drug Abuse)
- Counselling and guidance sessions
- Community outreach and extension activities
- Poster presentations, competitions, and social media campaigns
Code of Conduct
- Strict prohibition of possession, use, or distribution of drugs within the campus.
- Mandatory adherence to institutional rules and regulations.
- Respect for confidentiality in counselling and support services.
- Active participation and responsible behaviour from all members.
Outcomes
- Increased awareness and informed decision-making among students.
