About the Institution

Bannari Amman Educational Trust was established in 1995 with a vision to create educational facilities for students in rural areas. In pursuance of the vision, the Trust started Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) in 1996 at Sathyamangalam. The institution offers 11 Undergraduate programmes and 3 Postgraduate programmes in Engineering and Technology, Management, and all department offer Ph.D. programmes of Engineering and Technology. BIT is an autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, accredited by NAAC with an ‘A+’ Grade (CGPA of 3.36 on a 4-point scale) in the third cycle. Furthermore, 13 departments at BIT have received accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and 8 of the undergraduate programs are accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET-UK).

About the Department

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is a unique centre of BIT established in 2020. This Department offers a 4 year B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) Programme. It has a heartfelt team of dedicated faculty members with a sound knowledge in various areas and has the state-of-art facilities for various laboratories and supports smart class learning.

About the Program

The National Conference on Recent Trends and Technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (NCRTAD’2025) is a premier platform aimed at bringing together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to explore the rapidly evolving domains of AI and Data Science. This conference serves as a dynamic forum to present innovative research, discuss emerging trends, and exchange ideas on the latest tools, frameworks, and real-world applications shaping the future of intelligent systems. Key themes of the conference include, but are not limited to machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, big data analytics, ethical AI, and the integration of AI in various sectors such as healthcare, finance, agriculture, and smart cities.
