National Service Scheme (NSS) of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, Erode is a permanent youth Programme under the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India and funded by Government of Tamil Nadu and Government of India. It aims at developing student’s personality through community service.

To foster a culture of service, leadership, and social responsibility among the youth, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to the development of society and the nation. The Motto of NSS “NOT ME BUT YOU”, reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for self-less service.

Engage youth in meaningful community service activities that address national, and global challenges, fostering a sense of civic responsibility and active citizenship..
Provide opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities through hands-on experiences and collaborative projects.
Create platforms for personal growth and self-discovery, encouraging youth to explore their strengths, passions, and values while fostering a sense of social awareness..
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by creating inclusive spaces where youth from diverse backgrounds can come together, learn from each other, and work towards common goals.
Collaborate with government agencies, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and networks for maximum impact.
Instill a lifelong commitment to service and social responsibility among NSS alumni, inspiring them to continue making positive contributions to society in their personal and professional lives.
